I teach English online and in person as a freelance private tutor and as a part-time instructor with the Berlitz Corporation.

With my background in performance it’s been a natural extension of my teaching practice to provide support to creatives, performers, and artists seeking to broaden their audiences using English. This includes artist statements, grant writing, press releases, festival applications and visa applications.

I have a variety of clients. Some have strict deadlines for public speaking engagements and need to improve their performance, others just want to impress their friends on that trip to London or NYC.

I’ve helped people pass rigorous exams for citizenship applications or institutional admissions, and helped people pass short-term courses or time-sensitive tests for job positions and career advancement opportunities.

I’ve built confidence and better outcomes for those having regular business lunches, presentations and meetings in English.

I usually work on a one-to-one basis, tailoring classes to the individual, but have led groups of up to 18. I teach all levels from beginner to advanced.
